Does a 'real' metalhead always have to be dressed in black?
Of course, please don't forget the corpsepaint

Hey folks

What is your opinion on clothing. I often hear some guys telling that you have to be black dressed all the time or you are not 'trve'.

Do you always dress black? What do you think about it?

I personally do wear normal jeans and some t-shirts in different colors, but i always like to wear bandshirts.

Tell us your opinion.

Cheers

I can't wear the things I want to wear all the time, because there's a dresscode at school.
The colour black pretty much dominates my closet, but I wear white, green, pink ... aswell.
I don't think that should be a problem.
I try to mix my two favourite styles ( metal and rockabilly) a little, but like I said, that's only in the weekends.
And I also like bandshirts!
Greetings!

Yeah, Like she says, I have a lot of black in my closet, but it's sooooo hot now, and black attracts hotness and stuff...
I try to wear it as much as possivble but shoes and earrings and stuff... are not always black with me.
Bandshirts are cool (y)

Most of the time i am dressed in Casual/Formal, i have quite a bit of black shirts and t-shirts, along with my leather black coat and jacket. But im not always dressed like a metalhead. I want to get some gothic clothing, i think it looks cool as, i want one of those coats that goes all the way to the ground, like something from underworld. Twisted Evil But metalheads dont have to be dressed in black, its the attitude. Also, you should be able to tell between genres, name at least 50 bands, 20 sun genres, have 100+ albums, at least 5 posters, 5 t-shirts and a pendant...thats a minimal metalhead. lol!

Last 4 things are definitely unnecessary. I think you should know a lot about music. And the most important thing, not to be poser, do not try to look like hetfield or anything.. Be yourself.

No i love heavy metal, i was meaning to say metal in general. It annoys me that they listen to it because they are not true metal heads, and they just listen to it to look cool.
