Another history lesson. I bought Armored Saints first tape probably in 1985 and loved them right away. First album straight ahead metal, what you would expect I suppose but thier bass player and drummer were both a cut above. Then next abum cemented them in my best of list. Unfortunately the album that became thier most popular (from what I've read) Symbol of Salvation, was the one I liked the least. Then John Bush joined Anthrax for a couple of albums. Apparently they are back together and touring.
Biography
I'm not sure why all metal videos from this era have to have all the stupid LA trappings, the song is good though.

haha nice, great music; don't know a lot about the 80's bands but it never seizes to amaze me. Also love the 80's style haircut

Yeah I had a big puffy hairdo back then too...
I will keep posting some of my favorates from the 80's as long as no one complains too much.
