I had to make a thread for this band. I just had to. It simply had to be done.
Vektor are a Progressive Thrash Metal band from Arizona. The reason I love these guys so much is because they're one of the only Thrash revival bands to do something original. Sure, they've definitely got roots in bands like Voivod, but for the most part, they really do have their own, unique sound.
They have two full-length albums out so far, but as the first (Demolition) was self-produced, you'll probably only be able to get ahold of their most recent: Black Future.
If you enjoy the following tracks (some of my personal favorites), then I highly recommend you get this album. It's incredible.
Black Future
Forests of Legend
Accelerating Universe (In two parts because the entire song was over youtube's time limit)

He sounds like a broken kettle, actually.
Maybe back up your claim as to why it's a mess. You must have technical reasons as to why it is so?

Fair enough. And I understand your problem with the vocals; they were a pretty big turn-off to me at first too. The only thing I don't get is how exactly the music is a "mess". The composition is pretty good, in my opinion. Maybe Prog just isn't your thing. That's fine. Thanks for giving them a listen, anyway.
