Van Canto - aCapella "metal" ?

Yeah... i know, it sounds like a lame joke but it really isn't.
Van Canto's instruments consist out of 1 drum and a lotta voices covering songs like wishmaster from nightwish, Kings of metal from manowar and metallica songs.

As said before there is 1 drummer and 5 singers at work.
2 of those singers are actually singing and the other 3 are immitating instruments like the bass and guitar.

They formed in 2006 in Germany and are referring to themselves as acapella metal.
Its quite unique in my opinion, pretty much the only band i know doing acapella like this.

Haha this was really something ive never seen before ... like it very much, everyone has really nice voices. this band is really something unique

Now this is a band...I started listening to them about three weeks ago, and they are very unique. These guy are awesome and i love their vocals, insane!

Hehe, really amazing how this sounds; for me it was like hearing apocalyptica for the first time. Also shattering what i knew about metal at that time.

exactly, i felt like that too. Apocalyptica is awesome, and i love their sound just like Van Canto.
