Subject: Equilibrium April 24th 2010, 01:22
This band's genre is Celtic folk/viking metal so it belongs here. This is my favorite. The intro is perfect, the instruments and the lyrics make the songs beautiful in a metal-way. When I listened to it, I've got goosebumps because the singer sings & grunts very nice.
This is my favorite songs, 'cause it really expresses its genre and I like that kind of metal.

Well Equilibrium are very good...but they are not one of my favorites. I didn't had a chance to check them out with Robse on the Vocals...

do you know 'Die Affeninsel' ? its the first song where you can hear Robse screaming. just listen its a nice song.

I like these intros of them, they're so passional. If you compare it with Abinchova. Their intros I like less, because you can't hear it's metal, I think. This song is very nice. I just don't know what 'pobse scream' is

Yeah i know what i mean, but for me it's exactly the same way around :-) I like it if the atmosphere is kinda built up, if you know what i mean. I guess you heard heimatlos by Abinchova. I understand that it starts slowly :-) I think Equilibrium kinda overdo it with these intro's it only does that each and every song just sounds the same. The scematic of the songs are pretty identical and i do not like it if the keyboard is overused. But yeah...nothing against equilibrium they are nice... :-)... But in my personal list kinda far beyond eluveitie, ensiferum and abinchova
Edit: With 'pobse scream' he meant 'robse scream'...robse is the new singer :-)

Haha :-) Well it's pretty strange i normally do like only the hardest stuff of metal... maybe i just cherish the slow parts kinda more :-)
