Subject: Equilibrium April 24th 2010, 01:22
First topic message reminder :
This band's genre is Celtic folk/viking metal so it belongs here. This is my favorite. The intro is perfect, the instruments and the lyrics make the songs beautiful in a metal-way. When I listened to it, I've got goosebumps because the singer sings & grunts very nice.
This is my favorite songs, 'cause it really expresses its genre and I like that kind of metal.

Oh yeah, a topic about my favourite band! I just HAVE to write something. Erm. Why do I love this band so much?
Oh, right, yes, now I know what to write. I love them so much because of their style (their 'new' style maybe, considering the fact I liked Sagas better than Turis Fratyr). Their melodic and (to me) very emotional music always makes me feel better, refreshed and kind of healed from the daily stress. They put so much joy and emotion in their music, it seems to me they actually make music because they love to, and don't think about the money at all (yeah, you may think I'm a bit naive about that one). Also, I love their long, epic songs (Mana and Kurzes Epos) because I somehow feel connected to it. Those songs take me by the heart and lead my soul and feelings to a level above where they ever were.
Da** it, I have to stop this pathetic writing style.
Whatever, now it's your turn (if you like). Why do you love Equilibrium so much?

This band is one of the most epic bands there is out there. I'm all the time waiting for new epic metal bands who have the emotion and skill to go in the same level with these guys, because there is really too few of folk/viking/pagan metal fans out there.
And by the way my favorite track is heimwärts because It's so freaking emotionally. It's like christmas when I listen to it!
